Treat yourself to a unique weekend getaway to Contentious Character, a cool-climate winery with home-grown grapes and superb wines variety located in the hills of Wamboin. Here, they offer a fun and educational Indulgence Tasting experience guided by one of the Contentious Characters (subject to availability). You will definitely have the best of both worlds.

Featuring Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir or Shiraz, and step your way through each vintage, all cleverly paired with the grazing board to bring out the notes. Learn about your variety and the vineyard's winemaking processes as you're lead through each vintage – some up to fifteen years old.
You must be 18 years or older to participate in the wine tasting experience; If one of the contentious characters is unavailable you will be guided by one of our in-house experts, Dietary requirements can be catered for with notice. Please advise the provider at time of booking.
