The Barossa Valley is South Australia's best known wine region and home to the largest wine companies in Australia. The landscape is interwoven with the unmistakable presence of rich Germanic/Silesian culture and heritage.
This wine lovers tour travels via the scenic Adelaide Hills, includes lunch at Vintners restaurant or a gourmet picnic and visits to leading wineries such as Rockfords, Peter Lehmann and Henschke. McLaren Vale is dotted with over 50 small to medium wineries. It is situated near the coast; hence the area has a distinctly Mediterranean feel. Tours of the McLaren Vale wine region feature some of the most beautiful scenery in the State. Wineries include Wirra Wirra, d’Arenberg, Coriole and the historic Hardy's winery. Lunch is at d’Arenberg Restaurant or similar and we return to Adelaide via the striking South Coast.
Both adults and children are welcome on this tour. Children travelling need to be accompanied by an adult, children 2 -12 years 75% of the adult tour price.
