Lake's Folly

Lake's Folly is the pioneering vineyard that shaped the Hunter Valley wine region. Founded in 1963 by Doctor Max Lake, it remains an emblem of excellence. Under the stewardship of the Fogarty family and winemaker Rodney Kempe, Lake's Folly continues to produce exceptional wines. Nestled in the Lower Hunter area, their flagship wines—a Cabernet blend and a Chardonnay—are meticulously crafted using estate-grown fruit. These limited-production wines exhibit finesse, complexity, and structure, embodying the essence of the terroir.
