    Rosebery, Sydney, New South Wales

Situated in Rosebery, Archie Rose has been around for quite some time now and, respectfully, they’ve earnt their title. Partnering with local farmers, Archie Rose Distilling Co. has an intriguing story to back each of their collections. And their range is certainly not stopping anytime soon.   • Brix Distillery

    Surry Hills, Sydney, New South Wales

    If you’re looking for one of the best distilleries in Sydney, we must point you in the direction of Brix Distillers in Surry Hills. The Bourke Street craft rum bar and distillery is the first (and only) of its kind in Sydney, founded by three mates back in 2017. Their spirit, hand-crafted through small batch production, uses high quality, native and locally sourced ingredients – free from artificial flavours and colours too. Their distillery, tucked away in The Rocks, is like a three-in-one treat. On top of the gin that’s made onsite, Hickson House also has two swanky bars packed with plenty of specialty spirits sourced from around the world. Plus, with an intimate cocktail mezzanine, Sydneysiders are welcome to book out the spaces for their next private function. Manly Spirits’ story started off in 2017 when David and Vanessa wanted to create a drink that celebrated Australia’s captivating coastline.     What started off as a quest to find the perfect negroni 10 years ago, husband and wife duo, Corinna and Felix, set off distilling in their Newtown backyard. Then, after many trials and tastings, Ester Spirits launched in 2020. Today, they’ve made the cut as one of the best distilleries in Sydney thanks to their fabulous range of liqueurs, bottled cocktails and gin which has since earnt them the title of the World’s Best Navy Gin at the 2021 World Gin Awards. Their Marrickville distillery is far from anything mediocre, so be sure pop in for a tour or tasting!
