Set on 150 acres, not only is Krinklewood famed for its classic French provincial vibe, but they also produce a sensational selection of organic wines that pair seamlessly with the setting. Better yet, by visiting their Cellar Door you’ll be able to opt for a guided or self-enjoyed tasting of five of their bottled drops.

Three-and-a-half hours south out of Perth will land you in Eastbrook – home to one of Australia’s most premium boutique wineries, Picardy. Arriving to the estate, visitors will feel as if they’ve been transported to the rolling hills of Tuscany. With rows of meticulously kept vines, taking centre stage is a gorgeous sandstone cellar door that’s open for tastings. Despite being relatively new to the scene, Picardy has built up an expansive portfolio crafting exceptional semillon, chardonnay, pinot noir, shiraz and merlot to name a few.

Hahndorf, a German inspired town 30-minutes out of Adelaide’s CBD, is the last place you’d expect to find a sustainable winery. Let alone a romantic one if that. But, that’s exactly what you’d expect from Sidewood Estate. Founded in 2004, Sidewood is one of the more younger estates in the area. But their age hasn’t stopped their enthusiasm within the industry, going forward and becoming one of the largest certified sustainable wineries in the region.
